Pampanga – In line with the mandate to safeguard, conserve and protect natural resources and the environment, the Inspection, Inventory, and Monitoring Team (IIMT) of the Local Government Units (LGUs), through the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 (DILG-R3), gathered on May 24, 2016 at the City of San Fernando, Pampanga for a dialogue regarding the implementation of the projects pertaining to the Manila Bay Clean Up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Project (MBCURPP).

22 LGOOs II in the region participate in the 50th Batch E-Learning Module

On May 23, 2016, the Local Government Academy started the 26-day e-learning sessions for LGOO trainees relative to the 50th Batch Local Government Operations Officers' Training nationwide. The on-line training phase of the Technical Training is part of the Enhancement Training Program for the LGOOs administered by the Academy and facilitated by trained e-coaches composed of senior DILG Officers. For this component, the modules to be included are: (1) the DILG PPAs: Leading for Development; and (2) Dynamics of Local Governance. After hurdling the e-learning modules, successful trainees will then proceed to the Face-to-Face component of the Enhancement Training Program.

A total of 68 or 83% percent of the 82 programmed projects in 2014 being administered by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III have been completed by implementing Local Government Units (LGUs) all over Central Luzon.

Thousands of people in Central Luzon are now benefiting from 103 completed projects amounting to P142,461,740.48 under the government's Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) program since the program started in Central Luzon in 2014 until 2015.
