The Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) Oversight Agencies (DBM-DILG-DSWD-NAPC-NEDA) thru the Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (RPRAT) being chaired by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) hosted the Orientation-Briefings of the Local Poverty Reduction Action Teams (LPRATs) in Central Luzon on November 17-19, 2015 at Clarkfield, Pampanga. The Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) program is a commitment of the national government to make the national budget more transparent, accountable and responsive to the needs of the communities.
The said activity was participated by 130 LPRATs. It was aimed to capacitate them on preparation of the priority anti-poverty reduction programs and projects for Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) process for F.Y. 2017.
The participating National Government Agencies have implemented a total of 680 in 2014 and 1,197 in 2015 anti-poverty reduction projects which covers 130 cities and municipalities of this region.
