More than two hundred eighty (280) participants attended the "DILG R3 2015 Congress: Forum on Good Governance and Leadership" last December 3-4, 2015 at Holiday Inn, Clark Special Economic Zone.

As the culminating activity of the 24th Year Anniversary of the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA 7160), the forum aimed at promote awareness on the call for good local governance; strengthen partnership of the DILG, LGUs, NGAs and other development partners; acknowledge exemplary performance on good local governance; and encourage camaraderie between and among DILG officers and staff.

The activity was spearheaded by RD Florida M. Dijan DPA, CESO III. On her message, she inspired everyone to be "Star Employees" and embody the following characteristics - always present, result-oriented, self-reliant, reliable, give updates & don't need reminders, can communicate, confident, go the extra mile and grateful.

After the preliminaries, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., Provincial Director of DILG Aurora discussed the topic on Legal Education that focused on the Philippine Election and in the LGU.

Afterwards, Ms. Tonette T. Orejas, Correspondent from the Philippine Daily Inquirer and CLTV 36 Host shared her topic on Good Local Governance from the Lens of a Media Partner.
