ANGELES CITY- To raise and intensify awareness on proper waste management and to clear the city's river channels of wastes that pollute the water, the DILG City Office participated in the city-wide clean-up drive program coincided with the celebration of the World Water Day held last March 22, 2017.

ANGELES CITY- The Councilors League of Angeles City (CLAC) in partnership with the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) and in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government of Angeles City conducted training entitled" Federalism Towards the Equitable Distribution of Resources and Effective Delivery of Government Services Cum Raising the level of Preparedness for the Challenge Posed by Disaster as Priority Development Agenda for Barangays " on March 26-28, 2017at Venus Hotel, Baguio City.

DILG Angeles City in collaboration with the Dioceses of Auxiliary Bishop of San Fernando headed by Most. Rev. Pablo Virgilio S. David, D.D, conducted Seminar Workshop on the Ugnayanng Barangay at Simbahan(UBAS) for the Barangay Action Team Cluster I at Holy Rosary Parish Hall Angeles City on September 15, 2015. The UBAS-TWG clustered the 33 barangays of Angeles into 5 clusters. The first cluster consists of Barangay San Jose, Sto. Rosario, Sto Cristo, Cutcut, Pulungbulu, Sto. Domingo and San Nicolas.

DILG Angeles City Director Belina T. Herman shared on-air through radio program “Sulagpo Tana Angeleño” GV.FM 99.9, DILG’s programs for 2015, hosted by Jay Pelayo IV and Abel Maglambayan on May 28, 2015.  Major programs discussed during the  interview were Bottom Up Budgeting (BuB) and Ugnayan ng Barangay At Simbahan (UBAS).
