Olongapo City recognized the outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapas during the city's annual Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards on November 13 at Rizal Triangle Complex, West Bajac-Bajac.


City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino, together with City Vice Mayor Aquilino Y. Cortez, LnB President Randy C. Sionzon and DILG OIC-City Director Amada T. Dumagat awarded the plaques, cash prizes and certificates to the performing lupons.

OC hailed Brgy. Kalaklan as the city winner of the LTIA for the 2nd consecutive time. The lupong tagapamayapa of Kalaklan, headed by Punong Barangay William R. Umali, received a plaque of recognition and cash prize of 15,000 pesos. Barangay New Kalalake, 1st Runner Up, and Barangay East Bajac-Bajac, 2nd Runner up, also received plaques and cash prize of 10,000 and 5,000 pesos, respectively. Barangay Barretto, however, received a special award for being a hall of famer and consistently submitting complete documents in the City LTIA.

The other barangays were given certificates as appreciation for their participation in the annual search.

The city annually conducts LTIA to give recognition and cash incentives to the Lupong Tagapamayapas who put forth outstanding performance and exemplary practices in implementing Katarungang Pambarangay.
