Limayans can look forward to faster, easier and more efficient services and transactions to the municipal government as DILG Bataan and LGU Limay co-organized an activity on streamlining LGU systems and procedures on business and non-business related services on February 17, 2022.
Facilitated by MLGOO Evelyn Matias and discussed by personnel from the Capability Development Section of DILG Bataan, the activity aimed to provide more streamlined services of the LGU and a positive experience to the transacting public.
The heads of departments of the LGU participated in the discussion and various measures that need to undertake to ensure streamlined processes were discussed during the activity.
In compliance with the EODB Law and other relevant issuances, LGUs are required to revisit their current systems and procedures which include a review of existing policies and issuances, adoption of zero contact policy and the Whole-of-Government approach. Local governments shall then undertake a re-engineering process to evaluate their existing processes to provide more improved service delivery to their constituents.
On the subsequent implementation of re-engineered systems and procedures of this first-class municipality, Limayans are ensured of having a seamless and hassle-free transaction with the LGU.
