Brownout and poor internet connectivity did not stop DILG Aurora from passing the ISO Re-Certification Surveillance Audit on December 3, 2020. The hard work and perseverance poured in by personnel in preparing for the audit were rewarded when DILG Aurora passed the re-certification with flying colors.

 The surveillance audit was conducted to evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the organization's management system. The audit also determines whether the organization complied with the Operating Procedure Manual and whether the corresponding quality objectives were attained in delivering services particularly on the provision of technical and administrative services, oversight function and rewards and incentives to the Local Government Units.

DILG R-III was audited based on the guidelines prescribed by the ISO 9001-2015 on the enrolled processes of the office. Mr. Renato G. Madrid, Jr. of Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIP) conducted the re-certification audit in the Province.
