In line with the implementation of EO 70 or the Whole-of-Nation approach to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, the Pampanga Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) held a Strategic Action Planning on December 3 to discuss activities for the strengthening of peace initiatives in the province, particularly on localized peace engagements (LPE).
PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia highlighted the importance of LPE as a means to bridge the gap between the government and vulnerable communities, to hear the issues of the community, and to lay down solutions for these gaps. Further, she said that through this activity, the PTF will have a more strategic, focused and synergized initiatives for the achievement of long lasting peace and justice in the province.
Ms. Angelina S. Blanco, Special Assistant to the Governor, briefly presented the peace and order-related accomplishments of the Provincial Government and affirmed the commitment of the Province to uphold peace, order, and safety of each Kapampangan.
The activity ended through a workshop session to gather suggested activities from the member agencies for the crafting of the LPE action plan.
