PAMPANGA – The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III, headed by Regional Director Florida M. Dijan conducts today (July 11, 2016) the turn-over and blessing of the six (6) new government service vehicles intended for the official use of the DILG Provincial Offices of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.

 

The vehicles were procured through a public bidding process (open competitive bidding) in accordance with RA 9184 and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations wherein the Agency, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invited all prospective bidders to bid for the procurement of the said units funded under the Department Refleeting Program for 2016.

Toyota San Fernando Pampanga, Inc. won the bid for Line Item 2: Procurement of Six (6) Units Asian Utility Vehicle (AUV) with the contract price of Five Million Five Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Eight Pesos Only (P 5,556,498.00).
The six (6) new government service vehicles will augment in the prompt delivery of services to our clienteles across the region considering the voluminous operational requirements at hand, like, but not limited to, the ferrying of people and material resources during trainings, inter-agencies, monitoring of special projects, assessment and validation of program implementation.
