The Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) Oversight Agencies (DBM-DILG-DSWD-NAPC-NEDA) thru the Central Luzon – Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (CL-RPRAT) being chaired by the Department of the Interior and Local Government will convene to review and validate all the proposed projects of the 130 LGUs/Local Poverty Reduction Action Teams (LPRATs) under BuB Fiscal Year 2017 on January 13-14, 2016 at Royal Garden Golftel, Angeles City, Pampanga.

The proposed projects as per Local Poverty Reduction Action Plans submitted last December 14, 2015 were consolidated and forwarded to all participating NGAs for advance review to ensure JMC compliance and project feasibility. The validated LPRAPs will be returned to the LPRATs for revision (if necessary) and finalization. Revised and finalized LPRAPs together with the Local Sanggunian Resolution Approving the proposed Proirity Projects will be submitted to DILG Regional Office for consolidation and submission to the DBM Central for integration of BuB Proposals with NGA Budget Proposals in the National Expenditure Program for F.Y. 2017.

The Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) program has implemented a total of 680 anti-poverty reduction project in 2014 and 1,197 in 2015 spread out in 130 cities and municipalities of this region. For 2016, a total of 1,290 anti-poverty reduction projects will be implemented by various participating National Government Agencies (NGAs).
