The Provincial Government of Bulacan spearheaded the conduct of a 3-day activity entitled "Strengthening Governance through Adaptive Leadership and Management" on September 19-21, 2022 at The Manor, Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
The activity was geared towards the strengthening of alliance of the province' leaders with national government agencies and business sectors, alignment of plans of the provincial government and its component city and municipal governments, and discuss and address the pressing issues in the province.
In his message, Governor Daniel Fernando asked for support and cooperation of the city and municipal leaders in combatting the challenges at hand and to prepare for the upcoming opportunities for the Province.
PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia of DILG Bulacan graced the activity and discussed the minimum requirements of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) - a flagship program of the Department that gives distinction to remarkable LGU performance across various governance areas. PD Fabia urged the local chief executives to take on the challenge for tapat at mahusay na pamamahala for the Bulakenyos.
Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) President Victor Mendoza also attended the activity and discussed points of collaboration between the BCCI and the local government units as partners in development.
In attendance during the 3-day activity are the key officials of Bulacan - Governor, Vice Governor, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, City and Municipal Mayors, City and Municipal Vice Mayors, concerned national government agencies (NGAs), and Provincial Department Heads.
