The provincial government of Nueva Ecija, through the leadership of Governor Aurelio M. Umali, Vice Governor Emmanuel Antonio M. Umali, in cooperation with the DILG Provincial Office of Nueva Ecija headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., conducted the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) Formulation of the province on October 13, 2022 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, New Capitol, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

 In his message, Atty. Tactac emphasized the importance of planning in setting the direction of the province in the next three (3) years.

"Planning is done not only to just come up with a plan, but also to come up with a mechanism to measure its effectivity in the end," he said.

DILG NE Cluster II Team Leader, LGOO VII Fortunato M. Abraham, III then facilitated the discussion of steps and workshop templates on the formulation of ELA.

The ELA is a term-based agenda, containing the outline of the major development thrusts of the executive and legislative branches of local government units, thereby setting its leadership direction for 2023-2025.

Towards the end, Engr. Dennis C. Agtay, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, discussed the ways forward and action plan of the province regarding the said term-based agenda.
