In its pursuit of transparent and quality implementation of projects in LGUs, DILG Pampanga held its Provincial Calibration cum Orientation on FY 2022 LGSF - Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FY 2022 FALGU) participated by representatives from 21 LGUs and the Provincial Government of Pampanga on February 22, 2022.
The said activity is an initiative of the DILG provincial office to further strengthen the coordination between LGUs and the Department to ensure that DILG-funded projects are efficiently completed and delivered on time. Likewise, the activity served as a venue to address issues and concerns of LGUs arising from implementation of different programs in their jurisdiction.
Provincial LFP engineers spearheaded the activity and provided the actual status of projects in LGUs for FY 2020 and FY 2021.
They also discussed guidelines on the Release and Utilization of the FY 2022 LGSF-FALGU and Support for Capital Outlays and Social Programs under FY 2022 GAA RA No. 11639, and Orientation on the Monitoring Template for Non-Infrastructure Projects.
