As part of the Department's thrust to continuously improve its performance and strengthen internal capacity, the DILG Pampanga initiated a Re-tooling on the Implementation and Compliance of 505 barangays in Pampanga to DILG Programs and Reports via Zoom Platform on February 11, 2022.
The highlight of the activity was the reorientation of various regular reports, assessments and services of the Department to elevate the level of local governance in all barangays. LGOO V Lianne Abegail Munoz and LGOO V Mark Kevin Salonga extensively discussed the various reports under their respective sections: Monitoring and Evaulation Section (MES) and Capability and Development Section (CDS).
Another focus of the refresher activity was to ensure that all LGUs are High Functional in all of the Department's Assessments including Seal of Good Local Governance in Barangay (SGLGB), Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA), Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), Barangay Peace and Order Council (BPOC), Barangay Environmental Compliance Audit (BECA) and Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC).
The activity was conducted in two batches to ensure that all barangays will be comfortably accommodated online.
"Patuloy nating gawin ang ating mga tungkulin sa gitna man ng pandemya o ano pa mang hamon at patuloy tayong maging matatag, marunong at masigasig upang maibigay ang mga serbisyong inaasahan sa atin ng bayan." said PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia in her message.
