Central Luzon convened and organized its Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) Advocacy Cluster on December 17, 2020 via Zoom to harmonize the implementation of programs on the government's anti-illegal drug campaign.
The organizational meeting was presided by DILG Regional Office III–led by Regional Director Julie J. Daquioag, which highlighted the roles and functions of each member agency in the advocacy cluster.
Current programs and activities of the cluster members pertaining to their anti-illegal drug campaign were also discussed which will serve as inputs to the Strategic Communication Plan of the Regional ICAD Advocacy Cluster for CY 2021.
The Advocacy Cluster is one of the four clusters in the ICAD which shall conduct a nationwide advocacy campaign for the government's anti-illegal drug policies and programs headed by the DILG. Furthermore, the cluster shall ensure and enjoin all local government units to continuously support the advocacy campaign of the government's anti-illegal drug policy and assist in the implementation of measures towards drug abuse prevention and eradication program. ###
