Punong Barangay Francisco Valenzuela of Brgy. San Juan, Samal, Bataan presented "Programa para kay HuWAN" during the Regional Showcase of the 2019 2nd Semester Barangay Assembly Day on October 19, 2019.

"Programa para kay HuWAN" of Brgy. San Juan stands for: Huwarang Kabataan; Wastong Pangangalaga ng Kalikasan; Ayos na Programang Imprastraktura; and Naaayon na Programang Kalusugan. This "big idea" encompasses and addresses all of the governance areas that a community needs. Each sector was further elaborated by each Sanggguniang Barangay Member.

RD Julie J. Daquioag emphasized in her message that being chosen as Regional Showcase Barangay means consistency in excellent management, governance, and support to the programs and vision of the Department.

LG-MED Chief Lerrie S. Hernandez read the message of DILG Secretary Eduardo Año which commends the barangays for their support and encouraged barangay officials to continue advocating the programs of the government.

Hon. Aida DG. Macalinao, Local Chief Executive of the Local Government Unit of Samal, Bataan also graced the event as she expressed her support to PB Valenzuela for doing a job well done as the chosen Regional Showcase of this semester's Barangay Assembly Day.
