In a joint activity titled Facilitating Adult Learning: Communication Skills Enhancement (FALCON), DILG Region 3, through its Finance and Administrative Division, oriented newly-hired administrative and technical personnel and records custodian, and capacitated local government operations officers III to V on October 9-11, 2019 at Terrace Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Among the topics discussed to new employees were the Agency's standard operating procedures and policies, records management, awareness on DILG Region III QMS ISO 9001:2015, 5S good housekeeping, and R.A. 9184.

On the other hand, Ms. Nordian E. Ponio, a linguist, taught LGOOs III to V English Grammar and Public speaking.

Particularly, gearing up to become city/municipal local government operations officers, the middle managers (technical section chiefs at the regional and provincial offices) were tasked to present an impromptu speech individually.

Participants also engaged in various group activities that tested the existing knowledge, skills, and competencies.
