The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III, thru the Project Development and Management Section (PDMS), conducted a Seminar-Workshop on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Water Projects on July 19-20, 2018 at Maharajah Hotel, Angeles City. It was participated in by DILG RO3 Provincial Community Development Officers, Regional Program Officers, and Provincial Engineers.
Some of the topics discussed by Engr. Ariel P. Moyaen, the resource speaker from DILG CAR, include the significance, types, management, evaluation, maintenance, and the different laws governing water supply projects. He also gave recommendations on how to address defects commonly observed on such projects.
The activity successfully served its purpose of enhancing the participants' knowledge, skills, and technical capabilities on the design, plans, implementation, and management of various water supply projects in accordance with the National Government Standards.
